| If you, or anyone you know, would like to submit a song for the
"Your Music" competition, please send ONE song to
Peter Harper along with the
name of the band/artist and the song title. |
Official "Your Music/Your Art" Rules: |
- By submitting your work for participation in "Your Music" or "Your Art" you are automatically consenting to all of the following rules.
- As the artist you must own all rights to submitted work.
- You understand that neither Peter Harper nor his business is responsible for persons or people using copyrighted material that is not their own.
- If you do not copyright your work, neither Peter Harper nor his business is responsible if your work is copied or stolen.
- You understand that neither Peter Harper nor his business can be held accountable for the misuse of your work by people outside of the control of this website (www.peterharperart.com).

How "Your Art/Your Music" Works: |
- Anyone can vote but only once per month.
- All votes must be cast before 12:00 am on the 28th of each voting month.
- The person with the most votes at the end of the month wins.
- The winner submits 2 additional images/songs and one page of personal information (i.e. artist statement/bio/contact info).
- These three images/songs and information will be posted until the 28th of the month following his or her win.
- Anyone who is caught cheating will be disqualified.
- You do not have to sell your work to participate.
- Artists who do choose to sell their work will not be paid for any sales that may occur until all buyer/s have received their purchased items. Once the purchased item/s have been received the artist will be paid in full at the end of the month.
- Peter Harper will take 20% of any fine art sale, 30% of any album/cd sale and 50% of any single song sold.
- All sales will last one month or until the merchandise runs out. The
winner who moves on to the Your Choice section will continue to sell
their work for the duration of the second month after which all sales
will cease.
- All artists and voters who participate in the Artist Forum will be placed on peterharperart.com's mailing list. This list will be used to inform you of upcoming events, future artists of the month, and anything else that may be exciting and/or new.
